About the job
The Alliance team supports the growth of inRiver with a highly-committed partner community to support the growth of inRiver becoming a global organization. This is a strategic role in helping inRiver scale to the next level and an exciting opportunity to build an ecosystem. Managing the alliances will require good analytics of the market and the needs of the clients as well as very good communication skills to manage the relationships with many different alliances and other internal departments of inRiver as well as solution partners. Towards the alliances you represent inRivers interests and at the same time you are the alliances advocate internally to make sure we support well functional solutions for our joint clients and prospects.
The role will focus on the technology partners and strategic alliances relations developing our eco-system.
Responsibilities
- On-boarding of new technology partners and contacts at introducing the inRiver offering and key value proposal
- Creating business plans with prioritized Alliances
- Facilitating effective meetings with Alliances to nurture and grow the relationship

Driving technology partner sales
- Identify qualified opportunities that are sourced or influenced by Alliances
- Begin to drive revenue with Alliances
- Identify the proper activities to gain mindshare as the #1 PIM partner for alliances
- Enabling technology partners on PIM and the joint inRiver value proposition
- Development of joint market offerings and roll-out of these internally and within the partner organizations
- Understand and articulate the tech stacks and how solutions fit
- Support and educate inRiver sales organization about complimentary technology partner solutions
- Managing relationships with technology partners including contracts, pipeline, navigating issues
- Help in building the Alliances function at inRiver
- Proper account and sales tracking of Alliances in Salesforce
- Strategic planning with Alliances to track progress and hit joint goals and objectives
- Engage Marketing and other parts of the organization to support Alliances
Qualifications
- Prior experience in an Alliances role is mandatory
- Good understanding of IT in general and Saas in particular
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a tempo
- Ability to manage and resolve situations with multiple parties with different perspectives
- Language; Business level English mandatory
