About the Role:

In order to drive a successful syndication program, relationships with the key destinations of product content are required. The Channel Account Manager will be the person people look to internally, and that our customers will look to, for education, strategy and guidance for how to best engage with the end points most important to our customers.   

The Channel Account Manager will define and execute inRiver’s strategy for how to engage and build relationships with our most strategic channel partners – the marketplaces and retailers that are most important for our customers.  

  • Research and contact potential Channel Partners (marketplaces, retailers, data pools and e-commerce sites)
  • Network with customers around Channel Partner contacts 
  • Build domain knowledge around Syndication and share within the company and the inRiver Community (customers and partners) 
  • Manage RFIs from Channel-partners 
  • Perform meetings with channel partners to present inRiver’s offerings and Value Proposition 
  •  Maintain status of projects within Salesforce around progression and communications 
  •  Collaborate with product manager and syndication operations engineer

Qualifications: 

  • Excellent understanding of the eCommerce eco-system. 
  • Previous roles containing customer facing experience such as enterprise sales, customer success, account management, business development, etc.
  • Outstanding written and oral skills with the ability to communicate across various levels of business.
  • Ability to translate technology into customer value. 
  • Able to work with customer, partner, and technical stakeholders. 
  • Proven track record of networking and growing business portfolio.
  • Highly organized, with previous project or program management experience.
