About the Sales Engineer

inRiver is seeking for a Sales Engineer to join our sales engineer team with the EMEA market as working field, primarily focusing on the Nordic sector.

In this role you will engage with our growing list of strategic partners and customers. You will be driving the discovery discussion, software presentation and supporting the sales team in the sales cycle. You will propose Omni-channel PIM solutions, data models and how it support the business processes, and present to inRiver prospects. You are driven and have the skills to know when and how to ask the right questions and support our sales team and partners to ensure our solution meets the prospects requirements and expectations. It is important to be able to have the ability to communicate your expert knowledge through inRiver’s Product Information Management (PIM) solution.

inRiver has an extensive partner eco-system. As a sales engineer you will work closely with our partners’ sales organization to help them understand the inRiver software and how to present it as a part of their value proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical discovery in the sales process
  • Present the recommended solution - Work with the Sales team/Partners in responding to RFPs - Provide market insights and feedback to the product development team
  • Orchestrate the discussions with prospects’ executives around their business needs and vision of a solution

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience as a consultant or sales engineer is preferred
  • Good knowledge about information integration and information logistics
  • Good understanding of the modern system landscape
  • Experience working with Enterprise software, e-commerce, CMS and/or search- and merchandising engines 
  • Language: Fluent in Swedish, business level English
  • Location: At our office in Malmö

It is a benefit if you also have

  • Knowledge about the PIM domain
  • Experience participating in systems implementation projects
  • Experience from conversion optimization, SEO and related commerce areas
  • Understanding about MDM and DAM and related systems and services
  • Knowledge about print production using Adobe InDesign
  • Language: Native in German
