About the job & the team

As Vice President of Strategic Alliance, your responsibilities will be to develop, oversee, and execute our regional and global system integrators along with our strategic partners. The team develops and recruits a key set of inRiver partnerships, drives strategic alignment, creates joint solutions, and accelerates the future of new business opportunities. The VP of Strategic Alliance develops the actions that will drive revenue growth for inRiver. Some areas of key focus for this role are but not limited to:

  • The Vice President of Strategic Alliances is a senior role in the Alliances organization that combines both team leadership and execution on the company’s most important Solution and Value Add Partnerships.
  • Build a global strategy and plan for partner development
  • Guide partners through entire life cycle from recruitment to revenue goals
  • Take ownership of partner experience, providing insights on the market, manage operational processes and excellence.
  • Develop and maintain a community of strategic partners that support our over-all growth targets.
  • Forecast pipeline and revenue from partners on both quarterly and annual basis.
  • Support partner and sales with customer acquisitions, conversion and retention targets, as appropriate.

Our Ideal candidate will have

  • Experience in a strategic alliance, partner management role in eCommerce or Content Management sector for a minimum of 15+ years
  • Ability to establish and manage trusted relationships with senior business leaders.
  • Ability to manage, mentor and work well with a global team.
  • Self-start willingness to take action and calculated risks
  • Bachelor degree in a related field required.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

It will be considered an additional qualification if you also have:

  • Experience in Cloud/SaaS sales
  • Experience working with or for eCommerce technology providers or Content Management provider
