We’re looking for a Senior Sales Engineer who can speak fluent enterprise (and fluent fun), who can bring our platform to life in a room full of C-suite execs and in a Zoom room of technical stakeholders..
Responsibilities:
As a person, you are self-motivated and hands-on, used to a highly dynamic and agile environment. An enthusiastic team player, you can work across functional areas and gain insights from colleagues not within your direct reporting structure. You are resourceful, passionate and have a willingness to fail with excellent attention to detail. And just like us, you are a hard-working friendly person with a great sense of humor.
We would like you to:
- Strategize with Sales and Partners, and provide technical support for sales opportunities
- Lead the technical and functional discovery of customer/prospect needs
- Maintain and deliver product demonstrations, experiences, and videos to showcase how inriver can address customer/prospect business needs.
- Persuasively articulate the Inriver value proposition, vision, and strategy to prospective customers
- Work with Partners to create joint value propositions
- Be fluent in competitive positioning and be effective in differentiating Inriver
- Present to a variety of audiences including executives, partners, and colleagues
- Establish and manage trusted relationships with senior business leaders.
- Support field marketing needs such as staffing booths at conferences or delivering webinars
- Provide feedback from the field into marketing, product, and customer success teams
- Become the trusted advisor to our customers, prospects, and partners
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a consultant or senior sales engineer
- BS/BA in technology or equivalent experience required
- Deep knowledge within the PIM/DAM/MDM/Digital Marketing domain
- Comfortable delivering consultative presentations to C-level business executives, as well as detailed, in-depth discussions with a business and technical audiences.
- Experienced in solution architecting, project scoping and product demonstration skills
- Expert understanding of the modern system landscape for data management and ecommerce
- Experience working with enterprise software, e-commerce, CMS and/or search- and merchandising engines
- Expert knowledge of information integration and information logistics
- Working knowledge of Web development
- Proven experience selling and/or implementing Enterprise software
- Experience in demo-methodologies like Great Demo! and Demo2Win
- Previous experience in selling SaaS
- Ability to collaborate with and motivate multiple groups toward accomplishing a task
- Based in the US.
- Compensation: $140K -150K base + $40-50K variable
