Human Resource Business Partner
Are you a seasoned, autonomous HR professional who thrives in global environments—partnering with leaders, strengthening people processes, and ensuring legal compliance? At Inriver, we’re hiring a Senior HR Business Partner based in the Philippines to support multiple global departments while serving as our subject‑matter expert on Philippine labor legislation.
You’ll collaborate with leaders across Product, Development (Engineering), Finance & Legal, Sales, Marketing, People, and Partner & Alliances, and work closely with the HRBP team in Europe and the Americas. This role is not a people-management position; it’s a senior, strategic, and hands-on partner role.
What You’ll Do
Global HR Business Partnering
Partner with global leaders across assigned departments on workforce planning, talent needs, organizational effectiveness, and engagement.
Coach managers on performance, development, feedback, and team effectiveness.
Execute global talent processes (goal setting, reviews, calibrations, progression) consistently across regions.
Ensure alignment with global HR policies, standards, and practices.
Philippines HR Expertise & Compliance
Serve as the subject‑matter expert on DOLE regulations, employment legislation, and local statutory requirements.
Advise on contracts, employment practices, documentation, and process compliance in the Philippines.
Collaborate with Local Management, Payroll, Finance, and external providers on PH compliance topics.
Lead PH-related audits, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement of compliant processes.
Employee Relations (PH & Global Support)
Handle ER matters (investigations, grievances, corrective actions) with sound judgment and legal alignment.
Coach managers on conflict resolution and constructive conversations.
Ensure fair and consistent treatment in line with company policy and applicable laws.
People Programs & Operations
Partner with People Operations to deliver smooth onboarding/offboarding and maintain high-quality HR workflows.
Contribute to global HR programs (L&D, policy updates, inclusion, engagement) and drive local execution where relevant.
Use HR data and metrics to generate insights and recommendations.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related field
8–10+ years of HR experience in multinational, matrixed organizations
Deep expertise in Philippine labor laws and HR compliance (DOLE, employment practices, statutory requirements)
Strong HRBP experience (ER case handling, manager coaching, performance management, org effectiveness)
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels (Director/VP)
High autonomy, sound judgment, and ability to operate independently across time zones
Strong analytical skills and comfort with HR metrics and data
Proficiency in Business English and Microsoft 365.
Ability to be in the Davao office weekly (hybrid, not fully onsite).
