Group Accounting Manager

We are now looking for a Group Accounting Manager to join our team in Malmo!
What you’ll do 💭
The Group Accounting Manager has overall responsibility for the accounting function and plays a key role in building a scalable, efficient finance organization that supports Inriver's continued growth. In this position you are expected to take a leading role in professionalizing the finance function and to challenge the status quo. The right candidate should be a confident sparring partner to the CFO and other senior stakeholders, as well as have a genuine interest in people and leadership, hence enabling the team members’ growth.
In addition, you have an infectious energy and enjoy being the financial expert who knows how to interpret complex financial information, and how to communicate effectively with company leaders and other senior decision makers. This position will report to the CFO.
We believe that regular in-person collaboration strengthens teamwork, learning, and innovation. Therefore, this role follows a hybrid working model, with an expectation to work from the office 3–4 days per week.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
Support and develop a team of 7 employees, 3 of the team members are based in the Philippines and the rest of the team are based in Malmo.
Initiate or participate in transformation initiatives within the accounting function, including ERP implementations, digitalization, and process harmonization, while continuously identifying opportunities to leverage AI and other technologies to work smarter and improve efficiency
Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closings in accordance with Swedish accounting principles and tax regulations.
Prepare monthly closing for foreign subsidiaries.
Participate in the overall analysis of the group´s financial results.
Group Treasury function with cash management.
Transfer Pricing within the group.
Liaise with external auditors. Prepare for and finalize audit process.
Qualification & Experience:
✔️Bachelor´s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
✔️5+ years of experience in accounting and financial management.
✔️Proven expertise with group consolidation and financial reporting, ideally from the SaaS industry or similar.
✔️Experience from an international group environment.
✔️Strong leadership skills
✔️Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Swedish is an advantage.
