About the job & the team
Our ideal candidate has gotten a taste for the vast field of sales and is now ready to further explore career opportunities within the industry. In this position, you will be a part of inriver’s global Business Development team supporting the Nordic market. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) you will develop new business opportunities by following proven outbound prospecting methods. You will learn how to identify and research companies to target, have consultative discussions with senior executives, and develop phone and email campaigns to generate sales opportunities. For the right candidate, this position offers an outstanding opportunity to break into a sales career and grow within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Qualify leads received from marketing or other organizations and nurture opportunities.
- Generate incremental opportunities through social selling, strategic & targeted prospecting into Enterprise companies in the Nordics.
- Handover qualified opportunities to sales, with high quality, ensuring the best customer experience.
- Provide relationship management support and activity management via telephone, email and web to ensure customer satisfaction and goal achievement.
- Build and execute upon outbound campaigns to obtain additional leads.
Requirements
- Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Sales, Marketing or Finance.
- 1-3 years of experience in a Demand Generation/Inside Sales environment.
- Experience of modern digital prospecting techniques such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Social Media.
- Proven ability of working towards targets in a sales environment.
- Previous SaaS experience preferred.

- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence.
