Director of Partner and Field Marketing

We are looking for a hands-on and strategic Director of Partner and Field Marketing to lead the development of our partner marketing programs and drive field marketing initiatives across Europe and North America. In this dual-focused role, you will be responsible for building a robust partner marketing strategy with measurable impact while simultaneously managing field marketing activities that support both demand generation and brand awareness.
You will play a key role in strengthening our relationships with strategic partners and ensuring the successful execution of regional marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for a high-energy marketing leader who is experienced in working across both partner and field marketing and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to run programs directly. You will also manage a small team of two junior marketers while leading several initiatives personally.
This role will be based in either Amsterdam or Malmo.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner Marketing:
- Program Development: Design and implement a comprehensive partner marketing strategy to build strong relationships with key partners and drive co-marketing opportunities.
- Campaign Execution: Collaborate with partners to develop joint marketing programs, including events, webinars, co-branded content, and lead generation activities.
- Enablement: Provide partners with the marketing tools, assets, and training necessary to amplify inriver’s solutions within their networks and channels.
- Measurement: Establish and monitor KPIs to track the success of partner marketing programs, and adjust strategies to ensure performance goals are met.
- Collaboration: Work closely with inriver’s sales and partner teams to align marketing activities with partnership growth objectives and go-to-market strategies.
Field Marketing:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute field marketing strategies across Europe and North America to drive pipeline growth, regional brand awareness, and customer engagement.
- Event Management: Plan and manage field marketing events, such as trade shows, conferences, workshops, and partner events, ensuring alignment with regional goals.
- Demand Generation: Implement targeted demand generation campaigns to support pipeline development for sales teams, combining online and offline tactics.
- Brand Awareness: Foster in-market brand awareness by executing localized campaigns that resonate with regional audiences.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small team of two junior marketers, while also managing and executing key programs personally to ensure maximum impact.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in partner marketing and field marketing roles, with a proven track record of building successful partner programs and executing impactful field marketing initiatives.
- Experience in the digital commerce or software solutions industry, ideally within enterprise-focused markets.
- Hands-on experience managing partner co-marketing programs, including joint campaigns, events, and content creation.
- Strong field marketing expertise, with a history of driving both demand generation and brand awareness across multiple regions.
- Ability to manage a team while directly executing programs and projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with partners, sales, and regional teams.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to measure and optimize marketing initiatives based on performance data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
